By Milestogo from Tucson, AZ on 09/16/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Lightweight Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I go a little crazy with hiking boots because I have difficult feet to fit, very thin and delicate, and I use my boots hard-at least 25 miles of hiking weekly. This time I ordered 7 different mid-height waterproof boots, determined to keep only the very best. And the Keen Blackcombs are the big winner! I've been wearing them hiking for the past two weeks and they've worked out so well I just ordered and received another pair. They are roomy in the toe, snug in the heel (no riding up and down) and mold well to the foot. My feet don't slide forward on steep downhills-no black nail here-and the boots' light weight, just about 2 1/2 pounds per pair, helps keep my legs fresh even on long hikes. In the past I've looked for lots of soft padding to prevent callouses and blisters, but somehow these boots are extremely kind to my feet without all that fluff. I'm terrifically enthused about these boots, and I'll be looking to buy Keens from now on.

They're durable, great ankle support, keeps feet warm, awesome traction and best of all their comfortable.
