He needed something to protect his dress shoes for work. With the slippery, snowy, wet conditions of a Cleveland winter, these commuter shoes have done their job. They slip on easily over his oxfords and keep his feet and his shoes warm and dry. The traction is great for the sidewalks that are not quite cleared.
