Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This book basically replaces a pair of black leather boots that I wear to work - I am a public school art teacher. My need was a comfortable, well built boot, style was not an issue. While some people may like the frills on front and the strap, they are unimportant to me, although it might grow on me - I prefer a more straightforward look without the frills. What was important to me was function, bearable looks and price. This product could not be beat for [$]. Plus they are very comfortable and fit perfect. I am a 6 1/2 and there was comfort from day one of wearing this shoe.
