These are my third pair purchase because I always want to have a spair in the closet. The first pair which I still wear, some of the hide has just worn off, lasted 4 years and are still comfortable. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The boots are great, however thay are not the regular "brindle" color as seen on the web site, the pair I received was more of a blonde color rather than red. This may be hard to keep clean. They look awesome with great workmanship.
