The gloves have actual vents on the palms. I have riden in them in extremely hot weather for over 2 hours, and my hands remained dry and blister free. I was not going to buy them at first due to the gel padding and worries that it would be too thick for me to feel comfortable hanging on to my mountain bike handlebars, but this is not an issue.
