As a family, we ordered Montrail climbing shoes in different styles. They ran so small in all styles, we ended up with shoes 2 sizes up from our normal size after trying them on, sending them back, and reordering. I understand climbing shoes should be snug, and you are also told to warm them in the oven and then put them on to stretch them to your feet. We did all that, but still, I ended up needing a 40 when I usually wear a 38.
Other than that, these are great. I just do the climbing wall, so I have no comments on how these would work outside.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: At such a low price, I wondered what I would get in this climbing shoe, but I was very pleasantly surprised. I chose this shoe because the shape resembled my standard fave- the La Sportiva Miura. After 3 full days of outdoor sport and trad climbing in them, I am thrilled to discover that they edge and pocket just as well as the miura, and the toebox is tough enough to foot-jam in cracks without too much pain. At this price, I'm gonna stock up on them!!
