Comments: I loved these snowshoes. They are fairly easy to put on. I didn't get to try them out in deep snow, but they worked well on a light layer of powder over crusty old snow. It was very easy to walk straight up a steep slope with the snowshoe's crampons. It was a little more scary to walk down a steep slope, but I am inexperienced. I don't have especially small feet for a woman, but had to cinch the toe straps all the way down -- couldn't go any tighter. The other straps were easy to cinch down and held my boot in place well.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments: Bindings need replacing. They do not stay tight, they slip around on the boot, and the shoe slides sideways from beneath the foot. I had to readjust the bindings three times walking less than a mile on flat ground.
