Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Jump on this sale price right now! I properly determined my shoe size & these boots fit superbly right out of the box. They are warm, so thick socks are unecessary. The hightop style keeps snow out of your ankles & the attached D-ring allows the fitment of gaiters for deep snow conditions. I first tried the boots on & walked around the inside of my house. The boots do thermally adjust to your feet. The lacing system is efficient,clever, easy to use & gets protected by an outer cover. Robust design provides great support of ankles & arches. I own several 3 pin style skis & did not want to convert to newer binding styles. These are simply the best designed, fitting & performing 3 pin boots I have ever used. Fresh snow fell shortly after getting these boots. I went out & it felt as if I had worn these boots for years. Design, craftsmanship & materials are excellent. The rear heel is also scalloped to accept cable binding systems.
