Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My husband and I are both in health care and spend 8-12 hours on our feet a day. SmartWool socks are the only way to go. We've worn the crew versions exclusively for a few years now--for travel, hiking, running, etc. We recently switched to over-the-calf styles to help our vascular circulation in our lower exremities during the long days at work. These socks really make a difference and keep us comfortable all day. Although they're ski socks, they work great during the summer while inside the hospital.
