No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought them for the price, they are nice shoes for going out or formal wear but the fit in the toes are tight, the shoes wedge down squeezing them. For the occasional outing I can take it, the price was worth it for me.

Comments: Wow, I really wanted to like this shoes. But 1/2 second in them and I wanted OUT OUT OUT! The insole provided is absolutely amazing, but unfortunately, it made the shoe too tight on my instep (height). The sharp edges of the heel leather cut into the back of my foot. And the toebox squeezed by toes into oblivion. Then there was the painful crease in the top of the shoe which cut into my foot. The only redeeming quality was the amazing style of these shoes.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: very comfortable "ergonomic" inner support and sole/heel in a stylish, dressy, fully-leather lined shoe that will go from work to going out with ease, at a bargain price, and made in Brazil rather than China to boot (runs a little small for American sizing; I usually wear 10 1/2 E but exchanged for 11 which fit beautifully)
