I got these to replace my plastic Tupperwear utensils, which flexed too much when mixing heavy dough, etc. The stainless handles are nice and stiff, and the plastic is smooth and non-scratching. Make sure to check the backsides of the little dimples in then handle when you wash them the first time; I found some polishing compound (grit) from the manufacturing process still in a couple of the dimples.
