Seems like a good blend, but I don't think they last too long, but not many socks do.

I wear a size 7 1/2 shoe, so I'm at the low end of the medium range. I ordered medium, but they seem too large and bunch up a bit when I slide into my slip-on shoes. They might be fine with lace-ups--which I haven't tried yet. I wish I had ordered a small. I seem to be needing size small in SmartWool socks (I have some smalls in other styles). As with all SmartWool socks, the toe seams are wonderfully flat and cause no pain. The cushioning is very good. If you are close to the small size, I recommend buying small rather than medium. But I think you'll love the socks!
