By Hardcharger from Havelock, NC on 02/26/2010 Pros: Accurate, Quality Construction Describe Yourself: Athletic, Classic, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have wanted to buy a watch winder for some time now. I really liked the fact that the Orbita brand is made in the U.S.A. in Wilmington NC. I have yet to find a better price than STP. No worries with this winder, works great without overwinding, and the silver finsh is nice.
By Mommy to furry children. from Orange County, CA on 02/25/2010 Pros: Accurate, Quality Construction Describe Yourself: High End Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Received this last week. Came with a CD instead of an instruction booklet which was great. So far, seems to work perfectly and it is very, very quiet. Two thumbs up.
One of the best names in watchwinding By The Watch-Lover from Sedona, AZ on 02/14/2010 Pros: Quality Construction, Simple reliability Best Uses: Buy several, Daily Use, Travel Describe Yourself: Athletic, High End Shopper, Own many automatic watche, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For anyone that owns one or more automatic timepieces, having a watchwinder(s) is a neccassary part of the experience. Unfortunately, other than the cheap winders (mostly Chineese) that usually suffer from poor quality and short life-span, quality watchwinders are expensive. With the Orbita Sparta from Sierra Trading Post, one can purchase, say four, for example, paying about $600, whereas a basic Orbita four-watch winder would run around $2500-$3000. Why not save your money for a great watch and still have a winder that will last a lifetime?
