No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: My pair had an extremely low-volume forefoot and I had difficulty putting them on. Probably they'd stretch out eventually. The sole is a flat cushioned wedge without a lot of arch support. They sort of look like a pair of Hush Puppies mated with some water shoes and had kids. Not bad really, but- interesting. You'd get odd looks in Europe. I returned them because of the fit, and because they don't pack any smaller than my nicer black leather loafers. Maybe the nylon version would be better?
