I bought this to trek Mt Kilimanjaro and did a couple of conditioning hikes before I left. Almost immediately one of the straps started to detach from the backpack. By the time I returned from my African trek the strap was halfway detached. Other strap remains solid. I think this is probably a lemon, however, and not indicative of overall quality.
Otherwise, it's a nice product, although I'd like a couple of extra compartments.
Well made for a taller person.

Comments: Backpack seems well made, but it is far too large for shorter back-length people like myself. Backpacks for 15" backs are very hard to find. I will give it to my son to use for his school books.
