By BadhamPanorama from Bellingham, WA on 04/07/2008 Pros: Good Carving Ability, Good Grip, Lightweight, Smooth Ride Cons: Poor Flotation, Scratches Easily Best Uses: Downhill, Powder Describe Yourself: Advanced Skier Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Quick turns. Smooth in powder, but is great on grooms. Doesn't break through the crud very well.
Awesome all-mountain skis By In the wuides from Houston, TX on 03/08/2008 Pros: Good Carving Ability, Good Grip, Great Flotation, Lightweight, Smooth Ride Best Uses: Downhill, Icy Conditions, Moguls, Powder Describe Yourself: Advanced Skier Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: [...]Just used these for 4 full days of skiing at Vail, where we got 5 inches of fresh powder almost everyday. True all-mountain ski thatcarved well on the groomed runs, and floated well enough in deepback-country/bowl powder. Noticed the backs did tend to drag a littlebit like some other reviewers noticed, but not too bad or annoying atall. These have been called benchmark skis and they lived up to myexpectations. Bindings also worked beautifully and looked great withthe skis. Love them.
Only have the skis, they are awesome By Bondo from Juneau, AlK on 02/20/2008 Pros: Good Carving Ability, Good Grip, Great Flotation, Lightweight, Smooth Ride Best Uses: Downhill, Icy Conditions, Powder Describe Yourself: Advanced Skier Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used on East Coast Ice as well as Alaskan powder. Great on both. With a good waking they run fast and true.
Compared to wider skis, you would find the obvious, B2's are better on ice and slightly worse on deep powder.
Great all mountain skis.
