It rained over half the trip and the temps were in the low 50's. This jacket kept me dry and combined with a Columbia fleece underneath, also kept me warm.

Overall made very well. I returned it because the collar is too stiff with the hood rolled in.

I wore it once backpacking in the summer rain. It was comfortable and kept the rain out, though the hood could be a bit bigger. My main problem was that the Gore-Tex couldn't keep up with my sweat, and so I've decided to exchange it for a jacket with pit zips.
