I purchased it for those days when it may rain rather than snow in the mountains, but I still want more warmth than just a waterproof shell. I haven't had a chance to put it too the test yet though, so can't vouch for the waterproof aspect. There's nothing remarkable about the cut or fit of the jacket, but I do like the broad stand up collar.

Nice long sleeves, comfortable movement. Nothing spectacular, but a good value. Strangely, the tags list it as a men's jacket, and the zipper is on the men's side... odd but doesn't detract from the coat at all.
