It is 600 fill and I love the color (purple) and construction. I can wear it hiking, pack it in my day pack for when we stop for lunch, takes the chill off the early morning air, good to sit on, looks great on a date too. Only thing I would change is the elastic around the arm pits.

Collar hits a little high but should be good for cold weather. Good pocket placement for warming hands. I ordered both of the blacks and kept the darker, true black. The other one seemed more like a dusty black and it looked a bit cheaper to me (not in quality - color just didn't do it justice.) Great deal for a nice vest.
