No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Great looking boot and comfortable in-soles, but odd fitting around the instep & ankle. Required a full size larger than normal & they seem to be cut low around the instep and cut into the top of my feet. Also had difficulty getting them tight enough around the ankles to avoid rubbing/chafing. Probably better fit for someone with normal or narrow width foot with low insteps.
