I've done some outdoor work with them, and though I wasn't specifically planning on it, I may bring them along on my next cold-weather hike to try them out in the backcountry.

The finish was excellent, fit was very good. It's hard to find something this comfortable and this elegant. I could use it in the evening. At first it was squeaky and a little slippery on the leather steering wheel, but in a short time, it felt very secure for driving in cold weather.
