Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This was my first helmet and I have no regrets into my 3rd season of use. I don't have anything to compare to, but I'm more concerned about getting too hot in warmer weather than too cold in low temps, so I think white is a good choice. I have the one with the leather exterior - unique! I paid more than this for mine and still felt it was a good deal at the time compared to others I tried, so this is a really good deal. Be careful, though, every mfr's sizes and shapes are different. Go ahead and buy this helmet but make sure it fits right before you wear it on the mountain.
