SIZING DID NOT SEEM RIGHT By MIKE from FLORIDA on 08/15/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I WAS LOOKING FOR LIGHT JACKET THAT WAS WATERPROOF. I WANTED IT TO GO OVER MY SHIRT AND TIE SO THAT I COULD MOTORCYCLE TO WORK AND SAVE GAS WHILE ENJOYING A RIDE. BOTTOM LINE IS STILL LOOKING. IT SEEMS LIKE A GREAT JACKET, LIGHT GOOD LOOKING BUT SIZED INCORRECTLY. I WEAR A MEDIUM BUT ORDERED A LARGE TO GIVE ME ROOM FOR THE SHIRT AND TIE. JACKET FELT LIKE A SMALL. ARE CROECIANS THAT SMALL?
By Ablejack from Buffalo, NY on 08/06/2008 Pros: Hilarious, Lightweight, Old world Roadie style Cons: Clammy, Doesn't Breathe, Inadequate Protection, Wears Out Quickly Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: You know that clammy feeling of substandard foul weather gear? This stylish jacket has it in spades. But it's light and "bikey stylie" so I'll bring it on my upcoming eight day Tour de Farce. I am not geekly weight conscious on bike tours. I may carry a real rain shell as well for stealth camping showers. The "Campy" will be nice to have on cool evenings in trail towns and county fairs along the way. Haven't tested it in any real rain, wore it in a drizzle and felt a wetness. It acts like a thin odd spongy wet suit. (fit is true "eurosnug". )
If you are looking for performance cycling rain gear, try an epic jacket $$$$ or paclite $$. Better yet, in summer rain wear wool and get wet, simply swap out for a dry jersey in the evening. ta-da!
