I was able to wear a small in this size,but it was a little snug across the bust. If you are a 38C or larger, you might opt for a medium if you normally wear a small. This gown does not stretch across the bust. I ordered this in med. and sm., so I took the med. and gave the sm. to my neice. Very pretty gown. Thin fabric.

I washed it and dried in a hot dryer but it still is big on me. I am getting a medium. I am an average size bust & approx. 30" waist. My husband also likes this one.
