Sturdy, but very, very comfortable. Warm on frosty days, yet cool enough when it's hot. Good traction in mud.

I ordered a 9 and my toes still hit the end of the shoe. If I had time to return them and wait for another pair, I would have. But - I needed them at the time I received them and wore them. Even though the are small in the toe, the rest of the shoe is fantastic. I will re-order another pair of these but they will be one full size larger.
