These are great. After getting sore feet while trekking in the Andes, I bought a pair. These were more comfortable and gripped the path better than my expensive hiking shoes. Of course, there is no ankle support, but the advantages of these sandals out-weighed the disadvantages of the the shoes. I have narrow feet, and the adjustable middle stap allows me to adjust the effective width. I can't speak highly enough enough of these sandals.
