By The Woman Who Walks from Ashland, Oregon on 05/27/2008 Pros: Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too big Comments: I like Montrail boots and have had success with them before. These promised to have a grippier sole than others I've tried. I tried these in two sizes, but they were too big in the heel for me. So I'm still on the hunt for a light, shorter Gore-Tex boot that will hold up to long day hikes over challenging terrain.
