I'd like to look like a bug, please By bankbreaker from vancouver, canada on 08/12/2008 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Polarization, Good Protection, Lightweight, Scratch Resistant Cons: Frames a bit "cheap", Much too big Best Uses: Athletics, Casual Wear, Driving Describe Yourself: Casual chic Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend I have a medium sized oval shaped face. These are much too big, made me look like some sort of a bug or a kid trying on mama's oversized glasses.
I wanted to keep them for driving and fishing, but my boyfriend couldn't stop laughing at how ridiculous they looked on me, so back they went.
I don't deny the quality of the lenses, however, the plastic seems a bit "cheap" considering the amount you're paying. They also did not fit over my head, a very big con.
If you have a large face and are into the super over-sized lens look, they're perfect for you!
Everything I'd hoped. Gorgeous! By CathyC from Cambridge, MA on 07/14/2008 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Good Protection, Lightweight Best Uses: At The Beach, Casual Wear, Driving Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love these sunglasses. The striped effect is a bit more subtle than in the photos but really nice. The fit is great, no sliding down my nose. These do have a fairly dark tint, so they are best for sunny days.
