No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes were a great bargain. However, the other varieties of Simple OS shoes are a bit more comfortable, with thicker, cushier uppers. The cork sole is kind of neat, but the plain red rubber sole of the other Simple OS shoes is a bit nicer. Good for short walks, sitting at home or office, etc. Not good for long walking or standing on concrete.
