Comments: Love these shoes. Yes, they have a bit of stylish flair, but, more importantly, these shoes feel great. Sturdy, but light, these are shoes are perfect for a light hike on rough terrain. The footbed is solid. I have not yet put them to the test in the rain and mud.

I got a pair of these for my husband and a pair of the women's model for myself in preparation for a trip to Volcanoes National Park in Hawaii.
We're planning lots of day hikes but no overnights so I was resistant to bring my heavy duty hiking boots and get stuck with them as my only closed-toe shoes.
I think these will be perfect because they have sneaker comfort and are waterproof yet breathable. They feel great right out of the box. This isn't a heavy-duty hiking shoe, more like a waterproof sneaker with added traction, but for our purposes, I think they will be perfect.
I'm reluctant to buy shoes online but I love my Keen sandals which are a good fit for my short, slightly wide feet. I sized up a half step from my sandal size so I could wear medium socks and the fit is perfect.
