They were waterproof winter boots designed for use in snow. They are the slipperiest boots I own and a hazard to wear on slippery surfaces. They also fit non-wide. That isn't necessarily a fault, just their choice but don't expect generous width.
I will consider returning these. The first 100 feet I wore them I slipped on our damp flagstone path. Once it gets down to freezing these will be waiting to ambush me

Fit great, comfortable, durable and he's very happy! He's just hitting adult sizes (we got a size 7 1/2) and were really impressed with the value. Have not seen any comparable shoe in stores that would fit him at this price. We're very happy with the purchase.
