However, I expect that a break in period will work out that kink. It is canvas after all.
Other than that, it's great! The lining is cozy, pockets are generous and well placed and the colors are fabulous!
Warm and tough -- like me ;-) By PhDMom from Lovely Ohio on 11/21/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Cut, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: So nice of Carhartt to finally have a line for us outdoors-lovin' girls! This is a nice vest that has the typical Carhartt toughness but with a little girlie touch. I purchased the vintage rose -- *warning* it appears much lighter and 'pinker' in the photo! The color is much more a deep rosie-clay (think, Hawaiian Red Dirt dyed clothing), which was fine with me. The cut is true to size and does flair a bit in the hip area ('womanly' cut, I assume) with a longer tail to keep my. . . well. . tail, warm. It is a bit stiff but seems like it will break in softer with wearing. The 'sherpa' is also closer to a blanket lining. I did evening chores with this over a sweatshirt in 40 degree weather and was plenty warm. I also could find nothing that made it a 2nd -- looked perfect to me and the horses didn't seem to notice that it wasn't 1st quality ;-)
