The vest works for me as a heart patient By Heart Pump Patient from Powhatan County, Virginia on 06/17/2008 Best Uses: Heart Pump Vest, Warm Climate Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use the vest to hold batteries and a small computer for my heart pump. It works well and is comfortable. My batteries and small computer weigh 15 pounds and this vest takes the weight off my shoulders. I woul like to talk to someone about designing a special vest for heart patients. [@]
Easily adapts for hard to fit size. By Bladerunner from NorCal on 05/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Practical, Stylish Cons: Game pocket small unlined, Material will fray Best Uses: Bird Hunting, Warm Climate Describe Yourself: Recreational Hunter Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This vest gives great value for the price. I don't think it will last as long as my Black Sheep vest, purchased in the 1950s, but it'll do for some time. The material is a woven nylon appearing material, that has a soft mushy feel. I suspect it will fray along the thread lines, and it lacks the "hardness" of heavy nylon or canvas. I believe it would be very warm as a full jacket or vest, but that should not be much of a problem with this "open" design. Threadwork and shoulder straps seem to be well designed and durable enough. I appeciate STP providing full-sized apparel options for us big guys.
