By Larence from Coeur d' Alene, ID on 08/18/2008 Describe Yourself: New Owner Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The bowl's sinch portion is nice for storing food but it does get annoying when I have to fold it around the outside of the bag. The large is way too large for my 60 lb dog. A one time serving for her could probably fit into a small bowl. Why would you want to store or carry around anymore than that in the bowl? You would have to take out anymore than one feeding portion in order to feed your dog.
Ollydog could use a new drawstring By ashort84 from Austin, TX on 07/28/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Easy to Clean, Easy To Drink From, Good Depth, Good Height, Stay Put, Tough Cons: Drawstring defect, Unattractive Design Describe Yourself: New Owner Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I liked the design right off, I'd seen something like this bowl before. But when I filled it up with food, the drawstring wouldn't close all the way. Not good for hauling little kibbles around for a dog. Also, becuase I couldn't pull the string all the way tight, my dog ended up getting into the food prematurely, eating all the food and saving none. I will probably rip the seam and install my own drawstring.
By Chili from Denver, Colorado on 07/09/2008 Pros: Good Depth, Stay Put, Tough Best Uses: Active Dogs, Larger Dogs, Outdoors Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Purchased this for backpacking, 70 lb lab mix. Was great for use, but needed extra attention to clean wet food (dehydrated food mixed with dry kibble) from the folds inside.
Didn't care for the draw string feature, so cut that out.
