If your dog pulls on the leash at all, this collar might loosen. I haven't been able to use our "Knot-a-Collar" because of this problem. It's just a pain to always be worrying about the collar loosening, and not really know until it's too late.

I use this collar on my GSD when she's sheep herding. One day she got the collar stuck on a fence and it loosened up and allowed her to pull her head out just as it was supposed to. Any other collar and she would have choked. The knots can sometimes catch in the hair if you're not being careful when tightening the collar. I consider this a specialty collar that I wouldn't recommend for everyday use, but it does have it's place.
