The fabric is lovely, soft and substantial, yet not heavy. Unfortunately I am sending it back as it is not very flattering for us short waisted types. Bummer, because it is a nice, stylish sweater. However, this wrap style with the tie may be better on someone who has more of a defined waist. Good luck!
