Bought more so he would take them off! By Alicia from Clearlake CA on 04/22/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good cushion, Good Design, Hugs foot, Regulates Temperature Well Best Uses: Daily Use, While working on feet, With boots Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: After buying a couple of pairs of these socks for myself, I brought a pair for my sweetie because I thought he would like them and DID HE EVER. Once he started wearing them he didn't want to take them off and kept re-wearing them because they were SO comfortable. I persuaded him to take them off so I could wash them.
So in the interest of public/private health I brought him 3 more pairs and his feet are in bliss.
I personally thought they were a little too cushy at first but now I wear my backpack socks with work books and the cushion is perfect then.

These are perfect. I wear a 4 1/2 - 5 shoe and these socks in a size small fit great. They are nice and snug and they stay in place and don't slip around in the heel as some other brands do.

The small size fits his medium feet well, No slide , good cushion. He likes thick socks. I have a couple of pairs too and they are very nice. The small also fit MY small feet well. The alpaca doesn't get too hot. I prefer a little less thickness so my favorite are the Dahlgren light hiker socks. If you like cushy hiking socks these are the ones.
