Not what I was hoping for. By Sophie from Florida on 08/20/2008 Cons: Low Quality, Poor Fit, Rides-up Best Uses: Casual Work Days, Leisure Wear Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This was a disappointment - the color was OK, but a little odd. The fit was not good - waist too high, and I kept having to play with the rouching. Just not as easy to wear as expected so I returned it.
perfect everyday go-to dress By ronniecaliente from Chicago, IL on 08/14/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Wrinkle Resistant Best Uses: Casual Work Days, On a Date, To Work Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Eclectic Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great dress that is super comfy, it has the right amount of stretch and feels like I'm wearing a t-shirt, but it's really a cute dress. I love the small design touches, such as the white embroidered flower at the hem (makes it less boring than a plain black dress), and the snap at the faux-wrap front. I like the look of the wrap or crossover front tops and dresses, but being larger chested, I find this style can reveal a bit more than I'm comfortable with. My friends say "if you have it, flaunt it" but I feel I'm more sporty than sexy, and this dress has a subtle melding of the 2 - it's body conscious, but not tight (no tugging or adjusting), and the snap at the neck can be undone to make it a bit lower if you're less endowed (or feeling a bit sexy). The only con is the sleeve is a cap style sleeve, which is not the most flattering on all. I've got muscular arms, so they feel a little tight, and it'd be more flattering if my arms were smaller, but I say, whatever, I can throw a little cardigan on if I'm feeling self-conscious.
By Rebecca from Indianapolis, IN on 08/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, High Quality, Versatile, Wrinkle Resistant Cons: Poor Fit, Unflattering Best Uses: Leisure Wear, On a Date, To School Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had to return it. It is so soft and cute, but it really would probably only work for someone who is very slim. the waistband falls at a kind of awkward spot - too low to be empire, too high to disguise any stomach.
It seems to run a bit large. I am typically a medium and the small fit me.
