No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The glasses were a bit too tight for me at 5" across and the optical quality is not up to what I'm used to with Costa Del Mar. In fact, I exchanged these glasses for a pair from Costa Del Mar - the optical quality is MUCH better with the Costas. Of course, at almost twice the price, you would expect it. The Bolle glasses were made pretty well.
