Comments: I use these boots for light hiking and everyday wear. At first these boots are pretty stiff so use long socks because they will rub up against your leg but that only lasts a couple of weeks. Very comfortable but a little hard to slip on and pull off. Feet stay warm in these boots. Also these shoes run a tad bit small – less then 1/2 size.

Comments: This a very good boot for cold weather, snow, and/or slush. Even warmer than I expected, they feel like two little heaters on my feet. It has slightly too much depth for my narrow foot, but an insole fixed that. This is the kind of boot I would wear heavy socks with anyway, so it worked out perfect. As with most Merrells, the comfort is marvelous. This is a great value for a practical, good looking boot that is comfortable enough for all-day walking, or for tramping through moderately deep snow or slush. I liked these boots so much that I bought the black and the taupe.

Comments: These boots are as comfotable to walk in as a great pair of sneakers. I find them easy to slip on and off and they keep my feet toasty warm with none of the weight of typical winter hiking boots. I love them.
