Good for climbing over rocks! By Mountain Mom from Nevada City, CA on 06/05/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered a half-size larger than my usual size and it was perfect. These shoes are best with a pair of midweight socks and then they are really comfortable. Perfect for day hikes over rocks such as we see often here in the northern Sierra Nevada.
