I like thinner material for my nightgowns. Also, it could do without the ties. Who wants a big bow tied at their back while sleeping?
By jandives from Maui on 06/07/2008 Cons: Straps stretching out Best Uses: Lounging, Sleeping, Warm Weather Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I didn't mind the back tie ('belt'), but I did cut if off because it's fussy and I didn't like fussing with it. Cutting it off didn't have a negative impact on the nightie visually. The nightie is cute and comfortable and the fabric is nice cotton. After several wears and washings, the straps seem to be stretching out some. They aren't adjustable (which I like because those little plastic bracket thingys break or poke you in the night), so maybe I'll end up taking them up some if they continue to stretch too much. Right now, they look kind of 'floozy straps', sort of loose and lets the nightie hang a little lower - and don't detract enough from the nightie at this point to have me downgrade my rating.
