By SoCal Peggy from Long Beach, CA on 08/29/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Great for lots of walking Best Uses: Barbecues, Neighborhood walks, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Young at heart Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Don't be put off by the strange look. These sandals are wonderful to walk in! I often get questions about these unique sandals, but I always recommend them. A great alternative to the "White Sneaker Syndrome" when travelling. Ugly just might be the new "cute".
By Refusing foot surgery from Seville, OH on 08/20/2008 Pros: Bouncy, Breathable, Comfortable, Energetic, Pain relieving Best Uses: All the time, Barbecues, Beach, Going Out, Hiking, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Casual, Conservative, Painful feet Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these shoes from the time I get up in the morning to the time I go to bed, because walking barefoot or wearing any other shoes or slippers is very painful. I have "Morton's Neuroma" on both feet and three doctors have suggested foot surgery. These shoes are the only thing that relieves my pain!
not quite as comfortable as I hoped By Julie from DC on 08/16/2008 Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the idea and I think these will help my posture and gait but the side strap rubs my ankle bone, and they could use more cushioning. Also I did not receive instructions on paper or in a cd/dvd as others mentioned. This is my first pair of MBTs. I have only worn them a couple of times so far because of the discomfort at my ankle. Maybe I can put some sort of insert in to lift my foot up moving the bone away from the strap, but in a sandal it might look odd.
