By Saint German from Mount Vernon, WA on 07/29/2008 Pros: Adjustable Hood, Great Zipper System, Lightweight, Stows Easily, Warm, Water Resistant Best Uses: 3 Season Camping, Cold Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My son really loved this sleeping bag! He said it was the best and warmest bag he's ever slept in! When you pack it up its the size of a very small pillow so it's great for space!
By alisa from minnesota on 06/27/2008 Best Uses: 3 Season Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend I bought this bag for my son. He loved it and it was plenty warm on nights down to 40.
However the first time I washed it, the velcro tab near the hood snagged the fabric all over the bag....the surface of the bag is a mess. Looks to me like very flimsy, fragile fabric to put on the outside of camping gear. Also the seams fell apart in the wash and I'll have to sew it up before we can use it again.
Finally, one that's just the right size! By Seth's Mom from St. Paul, MN on 06/07/2008 Pros: Great Zipper System, Lightweight, Stows Easily, Warm, Water Resistant Best Uses: 3 Season Camping, Backpacking, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For years, we have put our young son in a regular sleeping bag. He would ultimately end up out of the bag. This one is snug, and fits him just right.
