These fit great and were instantly comfortable. I haven't walked a lot in them yet but I don't foresee a problem. Mine are melon or pumpkin or whatever the orange color is. It isn't as vibrant as, from the pic, I thought it would be but that's ok. I missed the part about the synthetic/leather combination. I hate synthetic - as in stretchy material - on shoes so my first reaction was to send the shoes back. But once I had them on and walked around the house in them - and due to the wonderful price - I decided to keep them. Not sure I'll care for them with skirts but with jeans or slacks they'll be great.
