No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The first pair I ordered fit perfectly in the waist but rode up uncomfortably when bent over. I returned them for a size larger. The waist is slightly big now and absolutely requires a belt. They STILL ride up though when bent over. I don't know how often I'll wear these because of that. I'm hoping they will stretch slightly through that center "hoop" portion as they are great shorts other than the odd fit.
