By Gala from Durango, Colorado on 07/18/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: just terrific, the hat I was hoping to find.
Not for Fatheads. Otherwise nice. By DavidinKenai from Kenai, Alaska on 06/11/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Reducing skin cancer, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Comfort-oriented, Outdoorsy, Practical, Utilitarian Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend A lightweight, quick-drying sun hat. Brim is sufficient to shade face very well and neck pretty well. It is functional much more than stylish.
Definitely "one size fits MOST". Medium head - great. Small head - use the sinch strap. Always take an XL hat? It will be snug or ride a little high.
Usually I hate chin straps, but I have a whitewater rafting trip coming up and expect to need it.
By grahamchops2004 from Utah on 06/03/2008 Bottom Line: Comments: We ended up returning this product and exchanging it for the Outdoor Research Cascadia Rain hat. The Earl Cove Booney has a pretty stiff and wide brim and the hat seemed to "creep" up my husband's forehead (i.e. it didn't come down far enough on his head to feel as secure as he would like). At the risk of being "vain", it really was not the look and fit we were going for. Regarding funtionality, I can't speak to that. Best regards.
