Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I also have this hat in 2 other colors. It stays put during a round of golf due to the elastic headband inside. It is tightly woven to truly block the sun. Brim is wide all the way around to provide great protection.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I cannot have any sun on my face, this hat is too large to be stylish but perfect for sitting on the deck or gardening. It is large enough to pull down over my head, it is quite thick and bulky compared to most summer hats but I like it because the bulkiness keeps it on my head in any breeze or bending down to garden.
