Breathable, light, dries fast. Belt loops are large enough that you can remove the included belt and use a regular belt. The included belt also makes great straps for lashing things to your backpack. I ended up getting four pairs.
I also have the Truckee nylon hiking pants size 30 by Sportif USA. The Truckees have a softer fabric but feel tighter in the waste and a little long for me. Both are good pants but I'd choose the Moose Creek for the fit.

I normally wear an XL in Columbia and Ex Officio..Ordered XL in these and couldn't get them on...returned and they sent me XXL and still couldn't wear them. I should have read the complaints about these pants in previous reviews before i wasted my time on them.
