By Zena from Kingsport, TN on 06/16/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Seat tore out, Tears Easily Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My son took these to Quetico Provincial Park above the Boundary Waters of MN. It was cold and wet and he lived in the pants night and day. On the next to the last day of a 10 day trip, the seat ripped out. We will return them for a replacement because they did provide lightweight wind and rain protection. He may choose to get a bigger size. He had first ordered a large and returned them for an extra large but wished he had ordered a XXL -- he is usually a 38-40 waist.
By Billy Pueblo from Houston on 06/02/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight Cons: Leg opening too narrow Best Uses: Backcountry, Cross Country Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Rainy day at the game Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants don't go on over a pair of boots without considerable effort.
